COROS
Merge COROS activities
Export the FIT files from the COROS app or Training Hub and merge them in your browser.

Add both parts to merge.
Delete the originals on Strava before uploading – at least the first recording. Otherwise Strava rejects the file as a duplicate and the second ride stays duplicated.

Where do I get the files?
Garmin
Open the activity in Garmin Connect, use the gear menu, and download the original. That file is FIT.
Strava
Open the activity, then the menu, and export the original FIT. ActivityMerge joins FIT only.
Other devices
Export the recording as FIT when the device or app offers it. Drop both parts here.
Why a COROS activity ends up in two parts
A long trail run where the battery ran low, a save instead of a pause at an aid station, a restart after the GPS hiccupped – each time the watch writes a separate FIT file. Battery background: Watch battery died mid-race.
How to export the FIT file
COROS app:
- Open Activities and select the activity.
- Tap ⋯ at the top right.
- Choose Export Data → .FIT.
- Share the file – email, AirDrop or save to Files.
- Repeat for the second part.
Training Hub (web, several at once): Activity List → Export Data, choose FIT. COROS sends the export by email.
Choose FIT, not TCX: FIT is the original recording.
Merge in 3 steps
- Add the files. Drop both FIT files above. They’re sorted by start time.
- Merge and check. After merging, the tool shows elapsed time and the aid-station pause. A fuller results preview (route) is coming soon.
- Download the merged FIT file.
What is preserved
GPS, heart rate, cadence, altitude, temperature, power if recorded, and the laps of both parts. The file ID and device entry come from the first (earliest) file. Values COROS calculates itself – e.g. training load or effort scores – are not copied.
Upload and clean up
If you’ve connected COROS to other platforms, the parts land there too:
- Strava: delete both partial activities, then upload the merged file at strava.com/upload/select. Strava flags the merged upload as a duplicate only while the original of the first recording still exists. The second original is not flagged and would stay as an extra activity – so delete both partial activities before uploading.
- Other platforms: check whether both parts arrived and delete them before importing.
Whether the merged file can be imported back into the COROS app or Training Hub is not covered here – we haven’t verified it.

Questions
Can COROS merge activities?
We found no merge function in COROS's help center. Export both FIT files and merge them here.
Can I export several activities at once?
Yes, in Training Hub: Activity List → Export Data, choose FIT. COROS sends the export by email.
Why choose FIT and not TCX?
FIT is the original format and carries more of the recording than TCX. ActivityMerge merges FIT only.
My partial activities synced to Strava. What now?
Delete both on Strava and upload the merged file once. Strava flags the merged upload as a duplicate only while the original of the first recording still exists. The second original is not flagged and would stay as an extra activity – so delete both partial activities before uploading.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The files are read and merged in your browser.
